Goal

Diagnose why a specific page may underperform in organic search and produce a prioritized, evidence-based improvement plan.

Success Criteria

  • The review starts with the target query and likely search intent.
  • Every finding refers to supplied page or search-performance evidence.
  • Recommendations are ranked by impact, confidence, and effort.
  • Technical unknowns are distinguished from observed on-page issues.

Inputs

  • Page URL or current page content
  • Primary query and related queries
  • Intended audience and business goal
  • Title, meta description, headings, links, and media details
  • Search Console, analytics, ranking, or competitor evidence if available
  • Recent page or site changes

Constraints

  • Do not claim a penalty, crawl issue, schema problem, or ranking cause without evidence.
  • Do not stuff keywords or optimize at the expense of reader usefulness.
  • Treat static page content as insufficient proof of JavaScript-rendered metadata or schema.
  • Keep the audit scoped to the supplied page unless broader evidence is provided.

Instructions

  1. Identify the page purpose, target query, search intent, and desired visitor action.
  2. Review title, meta description, URL, heading structure, and opening content for intent alignment.
  3. Evaluate completeness, originality, evidence, readability, and trust signals.
  4. Review internal links, anchor text, image context, and competing calls to action.
  5. Compare against supplied search results or competitor pages without copying them.
  6. Prioritize fixes and identify measurements for the next review.

Output

  • Intent and page diagnosis
  • Prioritized findings table
  • Recommended title, description, and heading changes
  • Content and internal-link actions
  • Measurement plan
  • Unknowns requiring technical validation

Quality Check

Confirm each recommendation improves both searcher usefulness and intent alignment, and that high-priority findings have specific evidence and an actionable fix.

Stop Rules

Ask for page content when it cannot be accessed. Do not promise rankings or recommend production changes without owner review.
